Bula E. Croker Estate - 730' of ocean front just south of Lagomar
This is where the Wigwam stood. '“The Wigwam,' a rambling wooden home on 10,000 feet of Palm Beach ocean frontage. Bessemer Properties - Phipps Family
In 1907, Phipps established the Bessemer Trust Company to manage his substantial assets that would be shared by his offspring following his death. Phipps was also one of the earlier investors in Florida real estate. At one time, he and his family owned one-third of the town of Palm Beach, and 75 square miles of land in Martin County. The Phipps family donated to the town of Palm Beach the land that became Phipps Park, just south of Sloans Curve.
